The research map
Important AS research, organised by the mechanistic threads that connect it. Each paper has a short summary written for non-specialists, plus a one-line note on how it fits.
A free catalogue of AS research, paired with an anonymous patient registry. So people can see what the science says, and how AS actually shows up across the community.

02 · Registry
An anonymous form that asks how AS shows up for you. Answers build a public picture of how the disease behaves across the community. No name, no email, nothing that identifies you.

AS affects roughly one in two hundred people. Despite that, the average gap between first symptoms and a formal diagnosis is eight to ten years. The research is moving fast, gut microbiome, JAK inhibitors, new genetics, cell therapy, immune cell biology, and most of it is locked behind paywalls and jargon. inflamed.community exists to make this research findable for people who don’t have a rheumatologist on speed dial, and to put the experience of people actually living with the disease into the public dataset that researchers will eventually read.
This site does not give medical advice. It will not tell you which drug is best for you. It will not interpret your scans or your blood results. The dashboard shows community patterns, not personal answers. The research map is for orientation, not for prescribing. If you are trying to make a treatment decision, the right person is your rheumatologist, with your case in front of them.
